Spring gathering

Anyone want to host a spring gathering? I can host at my house, but I have about 4 spots for off street parking, or you can park on the street in front of my house. It is like a cul-de-sac but it is a loop. This means there is very little traffic that goes by. I know we are going to do the usual fall get together, but I figured something in the spring a little more low key might be nice. Any thoughts?

We were thinking of hosting a spring meet. We have access to a private airport/airfield, so there would be plenty of room for all who could come, and a hanger just in case the weather didn't cooperate.

ya but my house in more convenient for me you see, so whatever. LOL I like this idea what were you thinking about for dates?

I may be in as well....depending on the dates if my Syclone is finished by then. Either way, I'd like to know where it ends up.

The airfield is in Bloomfield NY. It is owned by a good friend of mine that is willing to let us have an event there. And its not far from our shop, so if someone needs anything, we can accomodate.

As for speed runs....its a grass runway. Its super nice and flat....but I don't think the owner needs it torn up with us boost launching. That being said, there are many nice, straight country roads on the way and around it.....so.........

As for dates... thats the tough part. Want to make it early enough to not conflict with the other events and such, but the weather here is less than optimal any earlier than April/May. I would suggest a late April, early May date.

i was thinking i'll prolly attempt to have a gathering at the my new shop in May-ish area....nothing huge, prolly a cookout/wrench session. My shop isn't anywhere near the size of mattw's, but i also bet he'd be willing to host another meet especially now that all my crap will be removed from his place. :lol:

I'm up for whatever,fall gathering is too far away we need something sooner! Hopefully frank will have something at new shop.

I could be in for something if my new project actually starts up and runs...anybody who was at Matt w's knows I wasn't thrilled to drive my truck at that point. Sometime in mid summer I could prob have a meet at my new house in south jersey... 30x30 shop with lift, plenty of parking, and a swimming pool. We have some options let's do something!

well scratch that off the list then, the IMMORTAL, INFALLIBLE, IMPLAUSIBLE mikemuffins can't make it. Maybe we should remove that day from the calendar so we don't have this problem again.
