Well, by all indication it is :). It made the journey from CA to TN but will require some TLC to meet my standards for excellence. Most of the issues are small though (all interior cell phone/antenna wiring needs removed, headliner needs some 3M adhesive, hitch is coming off , PS rear cladding and DS front cladding are enroute and will need sprayed, engine bay needs dressed up, horn needs connected, ABS light needs disconnected - running Baer's so the ABS is kaput, bed liner must be replaced with a spray-in Line-X liner and topped off with a fiberglass hot red cover in a few months) but nothing I cannot conquer. The truck fires right up and sounds VERY healthy but runs a tad rich. The 17x11's on the rear make it look wicked from behind. I was shocked when my wife took a liking to it and suggested I take it to the paint shop to have it completely resprayed in vibrant red since the two cladding pieces will require paint. For now, it is fine though. My tornado red touch-up paint that came with my R32 worked great on the various paint chips and I am itching to test its performance.

Personally I wouldnt Line-X the bed. I would repaint it red. :2cents:

Shaun,

FYI, Vic from Victory Machine in San Jose, built the motor in your truck as well as the aluminum race motor. (408) 266-7570.

If you are willing to part with the hitch, I would be interested. Please let me know.

I will have no need for it. It is a "Hidden Hitch" brand and is rated for 5,000 lbs (quite beefy) and looks to be in real good shape but I will know better once it is removed. Was gonna throw it on ebay once I get it off but I will send pics to you and you can have dibs at it. They run $149.95 online so I would guess if it is in nice shape, $75 would be a fair price plus the actual cost of ground shipping.

Hmm, she likes this one? Must be b/c it's red...white is not a chick magnet and it makes sense that you sold the GT to me.

Do get a few pics and chuck some up for us to see. Congrats on the new one.

yep it's one of the pre-production trucks -- Pretty cool

ps - just found the thread.

Sent Jimmy some pics a minute ago to host when he gets time. As soon as I get the CA pine needles cleaned up that have nestled in places under the hood, I'll get a motor shot. The entire truck needs introduced to a clay bar.....there is sap spots all over it. They come off with bug and tar remover but it requires elbow grease. This truck was out in the environment for a little while but it found the right place to get spoiled again . Depending on datamaster results, I might throw 5 gallons of 114 octane fuel in it and test it out next week for some preliminary stats. I semi-ran it today; didn't smoke at all and sounded very very smooth and strong. Doesn't like to idle on its own to smooth though after a rev. More pics to come after some labor.

Odd how the last two times the '92 Syclones have sold, it's been for less than $6,000 each time. :D

I guarantee you it won't happen with this one again while I own it :). I've already had 3 offers on it (and one would have doubled my money including shipping costs) but I think I finally found one I can truly enjoy. After all, how many of the 92 prototypes still exist???
