This is crazy. I was checking around the engine this weekend; checking hoses, wires, clamps, fluids, etc. making sure all was good. I decided to crank it up and it started idling great. I let it warm-up and decided to go for a quick drive and it was like a new truck!? It ran...well...fine. When I got home I popped the hood with it still running and took off both cylinder head vent hoses and no-little smoke. I then took the oil fill cap off and no-little smoke and no "positive" pressure. WTF? It is like the engine-fairy came and put a new engine in.
Could I have bumped something into place? Was it a stuck valve? An "unseated" piston ring? Bad pcv valeve(s)? What do you guys think? I have no idea. I am still doing a comp./leakdown test tommorow but this is crazy. Needless to say I am excited as hell. Oh yeah, I filled up w/sunoco gt100 when I got home w/the truck about 75 miles ago if that matters. As of last night the only small issue was boost. It would hit 12-13lbs steady and then rocket up to 14-15 in the last 1000rpms of the gear.

I purchased '93 Ty w/35000 miles. Drove Ty home 750 miles. Truck started running like $hit and barely could idle within 75 miles of leaving. After getting home when removing the oil fill cap and/or cylinder head vents smoke would be esaping at a good clip w/pressure. Yesterday the problem completely goes away :lol: .
