Scored a set of 2014 Camaro ss Brakes for FREE!!

Just got a set of 2014 Camaro ss front brakes for free!!! Yes I said free!!!! Had a guy in our shop do a ZL1 front brake swap on a Camaro during the PDI as a factory option and nobody wanted the old ones, so I swooped in.

Will they mount the same as the CTS-V calipers? and do I still need to get the 14" z06 rotors to make this work? I already have a mount kit from Renz Fab for the CTS-V , I'm sure I will have to trim the pads to clear the wheels since I have 18's.

I got a brand new SS rear axle for free once, complete pad to pad.





Too bad it was out of a '09 Cobalt...

I once got a set of saleen wheels from the dealer for free. The guy at the recycling place about shit when I scrapped them.

only thing I dont like about the Camaro brakes is those stupid weights or whatever they are (i forgot, read up on them 2 years ago) on the top.

I think the weights are used for anti rattle or brake chatter and makes grabbing the pads easier when changing.

Nothing yet. Been busy with other things on the sy. They are just sitting on the shelf for now waiting their turn.
