Running rich

I Love My Ty's
I had this info on another of my threads. But the other thread was intended for info only. I thought that it would be better to start a new thread. I just copied the info to paste here.

Following the original info. Today while working on the issue. I noticed on the data I logged on tunerpro that the vacuum is very low on the reading for the map sensor. I have a vacuum gauge and the vacuum reading is fine on it. I am also posting snapshots from the tunerpro log.
Thanks for any help.

Info from other thread:
I haven't had the chance to look into the issue for the last few days. But I have spent some time prior to this thread looking into the issue.

A little run down on some of the things that have been going on and things that I have tried so far:

I will start first with: My engine has just been rebuilt again. Has 200 miles on it at this time. On the previous rebuild. That only lasted about 2k miles. The bearing went out. On this one I did all the work myself. Excluding the machine work.

At start-up on this engine. There was a small engine fire. Caused by a missing o-ring on the fuel line. Another lesson learned. It was not a bad fire. But the engine wiring harness had to be reworked, map,EGR sensors replaced, the coil replaced. And thats about it.

After those repairs were complete. The next start-up. The engine ran rich all the time. After talking to DaveP. I checked the voltages on the map sensor connector and found them not to be what should have been at. The cause of this turned out to be the ground wire not being connected to the control box for the Alky control. With this ground wire not connected. The Alky control box feeds 12 volts on the wire from it to the map sensor. Let me assure you that really screws up your map sensor. Another lesson I learned.

After connecting the alky control ground wire the truck is running well. With the only known issue being that the engine seems to be rich at start-up. I still am not sure of if it just does it from a cold start or later starts. I had thought it didn't at the cold start. But now I know it does. I am not really noticing smoke from the tail-pipe. But the water that comes from the tail-pipe after it dries off the ground. There is a black sooty type residue.

I have a AFR gauge an a FP gauge. And they are showing no problems.

I pulled the fuel rail from the intake with the injectors still attached to the rail. After running the fuel pump no fuel leaked by the injectors. I even sent them off and had the injectors checked to see if any were leaking. Was told all were good. I have since talked to Jeff Scott and it seems I should have maybe ran my fuel pump longer that I did on my own test for a leaking injector. I will re-due this test and see what happens.

Do these readings I discovered. Have anythng to do with the rich running condition? What are the possible causes of these readings
