It must be your 100% Trader rating +ve buyer comments and 6000+ posts that puts people off!
Most know this is a 'Forum' that attracts interest from members all around the world.
I have had great support from many members on here, I know it is a pain to have to complete a customs declaration, but it isnt a big deal really. Most on here are really helpful (come through 110%) with things for us 'Foreigners'. But please just think about it for a minute. I'm pretty sure its hard enough to keep a SyTy going over in the US. Think what its like over this side of the pond. Not only do people not know what a SyTy is, 99.99% dont even know what a GMC Jimmy is! Apart from oil and filters, I have to import everything for the Ty or really pay through the nose big time for things.
I've also suffered from some messages regarding items for sale that haven't been answered, most probably because I'm not in the US. I understand the reasons why (I think) but a courtesy message to explain wouldn't take 2 minutes.
On the whole this Forum is a great place to visit. I try and read new posts and lurk everyday and if I feel I can contribute with anything, I will, although my knowledge on some of the finer points is not as good as others.
Bezerk, I share your frustration and would like to thank the members on here who help support their foreign freinds with a shared interest. I can also sympathise with anyone who has had their fingers burnt at some time, but we're not all the same! Its good to 'talk'.
