Rolling Meadows Car Show Friday August 21

Ok, so all year we have NOT had a small group of us up to RM for their weekly show. The 10 day weather forcast looks like we have the weather, so lets post up on who can make it.

We've had 5 Ty's there last year. Can we beat that number? Of course Sy's are always welcome, we just always seem to get the Ty's otta their carholes.

So who's in who made it before or any noobs? Michael, Mike, Phil, Jay, Brandon, Joe, the young dude from DP.

Post up here even if it's a maybe.

For those who can attend the show has been moved back to the old location where it was help prior to last years Meijer location. It is now in the old Dominicks parking lot on Kirchoff, between 53 and Wilke. Plan to get there around 5-5:30 so we can group up, or else there may not be space. they will not let me hold 5 spots.

I will definetly try to get their! The last time I went was about 2 weeks ago and I had to wait 10min to get a spot, so this time I will go earlier, like 5:30.

I am planning to attend the RM event on Friday. I'm not sure if I will be driving the Typhoon, but I will find your group.

I have a couple of street rod friends visiting from Hawaii - WITH their street rod, so I may bring my rod also.

I may not be able to make it friday after all. I just became a new Dad last night and will ahve to see how the rest of the week goes before I can head out to the show. I'm gonna try, but not sure if I can make it.

Well in looks like the weather failed on us. It's supposed to rain tomorrow. Maybe next Friday. :rant: I'm still going to try to make it up their if it doesn't rain.

At 6:15 tonight there was ONE car at the Rolling Meadows Cruise Night. At least it was a TYPHQQN!

Let's see if we can get all SyTy owners together at Rolling Meadows next Friday. Everyone in?

Thanks Phil, I hope to be able to make it next week. Was your the lone Ty? The weather looked pretty scary for a while so, if next week works with everyone let's try it then.

I'm defineatly in, I was so mad that it rained. Now I have to wait a whole week for this car show.

If anyone would be interested in meeting up at another car show tomarrow, I will be at the Buona Beef in Itasca. Their is a great show over their, a few GN's to.

It IS a reverse image of your avatar. Hope you don't mind. At first I just copied and posted it, then decided I should at least reverse it. On a 1" x 1" avatar, our trucks would look identical anyway, they are very close when seen full size.

I plan to go to Itasca Buona Beef tonight, but I will be driving my street rod as my ffiends from Hawaii will be with me, WITH their street rod.
The brown one is mine, the blue one lives in Hawaii.
