You (and Doc) and Ryan are the only oddfire goofballs I can think of.

I just dont know how to compare oddfire to evenfire. Displacement for displacement I would not expect evenfire to be very far behind oddfire. I would expect very little difference between them (I am not aware that the firing sequence explicitly contributes to more power in oddfires). I dont know how much boost you run but is it well over the 25psi very fast evenfires are running?

My point is this: given an oddfire and evenfire with the "same" cam and heads and turbo and such, I would not expect there to be much difference, for a given level of boost, between the power generated by each engine.

So I would like to think that it does NOT take a stroker motor to break into the 9's, using you as an example, but I cant be sure that there is something I dont know about oddfires that makes them inherently more powerful.

there is a vid of a 10.85 run inthe multimedia section here... or at least there was.... it may be gone now for all i know since i think morgan was hosting it..... as i see it i'm luky to still be able to post today.... kinda expecting to e banned from here

just a warning to those that dont like people to announce they went faster..

we will be done with the cam change and start tuning over again in a week or 2 and im gonna post the results so dont read it if you dont like were i posted it.

its not a syclone ed they didnt come from the factory with a 400 trans. but if it has a 400 and an oddfire then hell lets make it the worlds fastest even if its not /stirring the pot

CONGRATULATIONS. But I do know of at least two ten sec trucks here in Michigan, that aren't on the board a lot. So realisticly you are probably about 6th or 7th on the list if you count those trucks.

congrats on the timeslip ed, you've worked for it. so you've got a th400 in the truck, who gives a shit if it didn't come that way from the factory. if the insurance company considers it a syclone, it has a syclone vin, technically it's a syclone. and a fast one at that.
