Recommended Trailer Hitch for Bicycle

Brand new owner of a Sy looking for a recommendation for a bolt on hitch only to be used to carry a bicycle around. I've searched the archive and heard some talk about hidden hitches and not being able to tow more than a jet ski. I'm curious to know if anyone knows of a specific name or brand or location where a bolt on unit could be found. I'm in Miami, FL or anywhere around Central Fla,

Many thanks,

I think everyone that has a hitch had to have them custom made to fit. Mine was welded onto my truck. There was no easy way to bolt it on. If you only want to use it for a bicycle i would put the bike in back of the truck.

well I have one of the only hitches ever made for a syclone by a major manufacturer. It is made by Drawtite (they only ever made 3 of them) specificaly for the syclone. I went through hell to find this thing and I paid $250 for it. I'll take $150 plus shipping for it.

I just noticed you're in Miami, so there would be no shipping.

You're right. Thing is believe it or not I use the Syclone for work and as I travel from plant to plant my bicycle is a life saving with distances I've got to cover. I save the bed for tools, suitcase, and misc bs,

Hopefully Als will work out otherwise looks like I'm going to have to measure out and have one of my millwrights weld up something... Bolt on would be nice

There should be the pre-drilled holes in the frame, so, something that is both discrete and removable is definitely possible. 8)

Thanks Big Al,

Finally got the hitch installed. Worked like a champ. After looking at it harder, I saw how much work would be involved if I'd tried to fabricate something myself. The spare is just in the way along with the roll pan. Would probably been a PIA.

Anyways, here's a pic of the final result. I didn't trim enough of the center bumper/rollpan off because I was afraid it would show a hole. Instead I've got a little more bow in the bumper than needed.

Thanks again,
