Well, the sun is shining (albeit cold this AM) and the good news is my wife drove the Sy home from the paint shop last night. It is torchfire red and looks awesome. I have to put all the cladding, bumpers, grill, hood, and wiper cover back on today along with new seals, tailgate install etc. The old windshield was taken out for the respray and a brand new one installed afterwards since I had a tiny rock chip in the old one and this gave me a good reason to have it replaced.

I take it back on Monday for a complete wetsand and deep polish and then it is ready for pics :). Only thing I need to get now is replacement black Syclone graphics. I am elated with how it turned out. Ok, I gotta eat breakfast and then get to work on it :tup:

Yeah, I know. I just walked in the house......9 hours making sure everything was exact. It goes back Monday for a wetsand and polish and then back here for the stickers to go on it. I will post pics on Tuesday but it looks light years better than it did. I am VERY pleased!

Ok, I will succumb to the forum pressure to part the proto Syclone out. For starters, the rear metal corner cladding brackets will be offered to Michael for $1,500 each or $2,500 for the matching pair. To other interested parties;

One off prototype upper intake - $12,000 + exchange intake
Original hood - $2,500
OEM prototype CD player (same as in Typhoons but different serial #) - $3,500
Will also be willing to sell the air from the tires for $850. If you want the air hot (aka hot air), it will cost $2,000 ;).

50% of this sale will be donated to our fine forum moderators to ensure we are able to perpetuate parting out more Syclones and Typhoons. I have the resources to buy both versions in bulk so if this sale goes well with my own property since the demand is there, I can divert some investment funds to buy more to cut up for the needy and, rest assured if it is junk, I won't meddle with it since that has been my standing policy for years. Look at it as a quality organ donorship program.

Can you post the pics of the air from the tires. I'm prett interested in that. Is it the original stuff? or is it a reproduction thing? Pics would be nice. Also would you be interested in some Canadian air from my tires as a part trade?

Thanks Eric. Alot of time, effort and $$$ has went into it to make it right, but since it is running so good, I felt like it deserved it :). It had a bedliner in it which I removed. No rust in the bed at all but the fender wells were smashed up and even though I pushed some of the major dents out from underneath with my foot, the body shop still charged 10 hours labor to get them perfect, in addition to materials and paint. The tailgate had 2 dents near the top and the very top ridge was humped up a little near both until that liner cover was removed (both were unknown until the liner cover was removed). Hidden stuff like that adds up quick but I have it almost it should be now. Even put the original PAS stickers back on it but the rest will wait until Monday evening.

Good grief.....I can't for the life of me catch a pic of the air coming out. Already lost 12 PSI taking 10 pics without a single positive result. I have an idea though; I will drive it around, get the air hot and then release some of the hot air into the cold atmosphere where it will crystalize microscopically and form a fog like substance that should show up in the picture :tup:. Since I lost 1/3 of my air and the air will be hot for the pic, I will knock 33% off of my quoted "hot air" pricing for you. I must ask for a $500 deposit though to insure you are a serious customer, considering you have air on hand to potentially trade.

I saw at least 2 others at John Koss' place, and I really didn't dig in the pile.
Marty used to have one or two, also.

There wasn't anything special about them, that I could see, unless your's is markedly different.

There are many proto intakes heck I sold a 2wd truck with a proto intake a few months ago merk has 2 minimum

these are the ones with NO syclone wording
