last weekend the ty went 8.94 @ 251.74. as i understand it went into the 8's twice and then had a gasket problem. the week before in tuning we made 1250 horse and 1450 torque at the shop on the awd dyno so i thought it had a good chance to go 9 flat or better

not running full boost yet, so i still think it will go faster. the gaskets had a full season on them. but it ran good with everything else and no problems.

i'm pretty happy, but i still think she has at least an .8.7 or more in her. that's pretty fast for an awd brick.... :)

the vette motor is torn down right now, but i will tell you this. at the moment it makes much more power and is a LOT faster than the ty right now..... we're just waiting for next year ;)

on the fun side, if i can work it out and get myself together it might get shipped over to me and will run in a few places over here. might be fun to run a low 8 second awd vette in some street races. although, last i heard getting caught street racing with a low to mid 8 second car is a capitol offense by lethat injection if you get caught ...(anyone without a sense of humor lighten up... everyone knows i don't street race. it was called a joke....:woot:

I don't remember - was the Polish Ty V8 or did they stay V6?

Guess I have some catching up to do.

Congrats, I love to see any fast car/truck syty for sure no matter engine choice.

hey less. someone contacted me from poland wanted to buy my red Typhoon i had for sale. it was dirt cheap and the guy knew these v8Ty guys. anyway, he never showed up.
i still have a cheap Syclone for sale if anyone of those guys is intrested it's a nice Sy with 60K miles only needs a new engine. v8turbo??

we're babying it out of the hole and not hard on it yet...... just be patient and wait. i ain't done with this dance yet.... ;)

the video pass he wasn't on it the whole way, but did you hear the motor??? think it's makin any power now? looked like it comes out of the hole pretty good

this computer can't handle videos, will look at it when I get home.

That was just the first thing i noticed.... I mean we have 10 second cars pulling quicker 60' thats what struck me as odd.

I am sure there is more in it... keep up the good work and i can't wait to see the video from home

I don't imagine you get fantastic traction on what appears to be an old airport runway.

We get VHT the full length of the track here, I'm guessing that doesn't happen there...
Which makes the run that much more impressive.
