The only reason E's truck is somewhat fast is because he weighs about 110#.

NOPE! didnt do it. ran same thing as last time.
1st run like a dumbass was in OD. 1.75 60ft at 12.2 2800 launch 8psi launch 106.84 mph
2nd run in D 1.85 60ft at 12.10 2600 launch 6psi launch 115.39mph.
looks like i shot myself in the foot on the launch for the 2nd run, since my understanding is each .1 of 60ft is worth .3 in et.
I would think therre would be more difference in et between D and OD.
So it appears the driver kept it out of the 11's
third run never happened as the track got oiled at 10:30 and i left the fan on to long and killed the battery, very frustrating.
I was using the ultimate on t318 and the controller set for 21psi. boost was fairly steady.
I have a couple questions for you all.
Arent most or all trucks in the 11's using 2800 stall TC's ?
Is anyone using less converter like i am?
Just wondering if i should take another attempt at more converter?
With the new wastgate and controller the truck now feels stronger everywhere except off the line thru 1st gear.
The one nice thing was what i heard on the radio.
last july on my 1st run of 14.4 on the old motor the announcer said:
"you dont need a fancy paint job to do that in a syclone'
last nite on the 12.1 I heard him say: "he's really moving now"
anyway with the frustrating nite it was at lest nice to see i was getting some nice comments from the announcer on improving things from the past.
As a few seasoned racers told me last nite: "It takes time to sort it all out"

Usually a tenth at the 60' is a tenth and a half to two tenths in the 1/4.
that will vary depending on the manufacturer of your visor and snowplow though :wink:
Take it easy Ed. You'll get there.. if it was simple, we'd all have 10 second rides. Methinks a custom tune with the DFI & wideband 02 will give you 11s, or an 11 second ET capable mph, the first time out.

Im sittin here all down in the dumps over this. When i should be happy as a pig in shit that ive got a 12.1 sec daily driver!
anyway The next performance mod will probably be the cheapest mod i'll ever do.
Im takin that f- - - kin visor off the the truck. Its buggin me that much now that it may be just the fix i'm lookin for.

not tryin to flame here, but why the peeshooter turbo? with a built motor and crank you could easily put a 72 on that thing and run those 11's all night long. i know it can be done with a .60 but i was just wondering why not step up and quit worrying about hitting that 11!!

the honest answer is:
I didnt have a friggin clue which to use in the beggining so i just went with the biggest pte had with the downpipe and cat in the package!
hows that for being bruttally honest.
Also the Ac is staying in this truck so i dont know what fits without deleting the ac compressor?
Besides that in an effort to keep things simple and not do R&D i figured i would play it safe and go whith what at the time seemed to be a fairly common build around the board here. live and learn.
i can allways change things later. no doubt i will.

boost is steady in all gears now that i havea boost controller that works.
boost does drop on shifts.
no knock at all using 110 octane on ultimate t318.
i get a like 2 degrees using 110 octane on t320. these coincided with the shift points.
need to see if 116 octane is the fix for this.

ya know ed its starting to bother me now.......
looks like you have more cam and more turbo than i did when i ran my 7.5@90 on LOW boost. what are you using for heads? is your truck running good? i really wish you had a WB so i could see how your truck is running. you should be in the 11's with ease.......i just dont get it. post a datamaster run or something so i can look at it.
