Oh that hurts!

What were you doing when this happened?
(a) boost launch
(b) 150 mph on freeway
(c) idleing in driveway
(d) other
If other please give details.

What are your plans for the new engine?
Stock, or going to build for more power?

Damaged internals does not surprise me as much as the fact that you are 70 years old and still meddling with uncomfortable, stiff riding, stoplight warriors :tup:.

See it as justification to invest in an "all out" better.

Hmmmmm.......Might be embarrassed to say this, but, I was giving the wife a lesson in boost launching (I was out to spank her ass). I had her by a good three lengths, when all of a sudden God spoke to me with a great clap of thunder.........and he said, thou shallt now spank the wife's ass in public. He then made the Sy puke all over the road.

Don't know what really happened. Boost was running about 16, just hit 2nd, no preamble, just a bang and a VERY big cloud of smoke. The wife was very pissed that I got oil all over her truck.......

Thanks for sharing.....I only hope that when I am 70 I can blow up my truck dragracing my wife!:tup:...or at least have a wife that would race me;)...or even have a wife:lol:

I think you're right. We think that detonation blew the piston and then took the rod, and then........
