What time can we show up Keith? How about around noon or so?

So far here is who I think might be there.

Me
Keith
Wade
Jimmy
George
Jesse
Ineedasy
John Gerber
sy-1177
Makaveli
Vaders sy
Clint

Weather looks great. 71* by noon, and should go up to about 78*.

Keith , you still gonna break out the BBQ?

Only thing I plan on doing to my truck is to try and fix the minor leak at the external filter, and maybe install my trans temp gauge. I had thought about doing its first fluid change, but I think it might be a little soon. I'll have about 500 miles on the new trans , by the time I get to your place.

Unless you wanna get really serious, and I'll bring the PTE 51 and DP.. J/K

I might be able to make this. Gotta talk to someone first though. =)

Could you PM me the address just in case?

Maybe I can carpool partway with one of the MI guys, since I won't have the Sy anyway. I'm having boost withdrawal. =)

It's OK. The air filter fell off its housing the other day and I have a piece of panty hose filling in for the filter until I can get it fixed.... :)

If anyone has a 15mm stubby wrench or one they use for turbo R&R's, please bring. :D

And, just remembered that I don't have the oil drain flange. Not sure if the garrett and PTE is the same.

Its on there and LOUD. I didn't turn the boost up, because I want to get some race gas in it..... but it felt strong. I'm sure the other guys will say something about how it sounded a block away. I did notice alot more top end on the freeway drive home.

Thanks Keith for having us, that was a great time. I really appreciated the help from everyone. Hopefully theres going to be a meet where I can just sit and relax and not wrench on my truck.

Thanks to Jimmy for running to Autozone for that hose, and to Wade for getting that 1/4 npt plug. And Keith for letting me burn up a couple of expensive sawzall blades. I owe you guys some $$ for that stuff.

Well, this is really all RJ's fault ;) , but I have to say that I'm REALLY glad I have that turbo on the truck now. Its a major step in the right direction. It needed to happen, as I never had boost control with the 44..... so now I should be able to finally get a damn timeslip. :D

Thanks to all the guys who helped me wrench. I know the stock downpipe was a PITA to get out, but I think it should have came from the factory, like a PTE (3 piece)....... so we made it into one. :D

I did a couple datamaster runs of it last night, and I finally saw 3.7* of knock around ~60 mph at 7lbs of boost. I'll get some good gas in there today and turn up the boost. Its not gonna be long before I'm going to need the 50's though. :-?

Wished I could have gone. I had coolant in the motor oil when I changed the oil on Saturday along with having to work on Sunday prevented me from attending. I was going to go with my brother to the GN meet in columbus the weekend before, but I had exams on Monday morning :( I graduate from college in June, so more free time means I can start going to these events. Wish it were June.
