Nippon Tys

I just got back home from a 2 week vacation to Nippon. While I was there, I met up with Hideakimura and he was nice enough to take time out of his busy schedule to show me around. We checked out a dealer that has two sitting Tys. Both Tys are rough around the edges, but the mileage and prices are low. If I had the room and didn't have to ship it, I would buy them.

Much mahalo to Kimura-san for letting me launch my first Green/Gray! :tup: Flooring it on the Sanyo Expressway (shotgun) in his W8 wagon was a rush too.

That metal crossover looks like a lot of work...but someone oughta fab those to replace the plastic ones.

Hideakimura's truck is badass. :tup:

How much were the ones for sale?

@baythan...I'm not 100% sure about the price (lost in translation and currency conversion), but it was cheap. I'll try to see if Kimura-san can clarify.

@dave...I met him many years ago in Waikiki. It was finally time for me to see his world. Kimura-san's night driving at 180kph on a dark, two-lane expressway will get your heart thumpin'. "Slow @sses, move left!!"
