Thanks for the pics guys. It was right as you described though the green wire was shrouded.
I checked and it is 12v. I shorted the 12v to ground but the gauge did not move. I am pretty sure the wire is the problem though as it moved when I reset it by hand then connected the dash again.
The cluster connector under the dash is my next area of investigation.
Anyone know how much a S-10 canadian style is going to set me back?
