well i got my bed rug in today from gaylords lids. it seems very good quality carpet type material, the floor has a foam backing while the sides are a type of wood covered with the carpet material.

It was $400.00 shipped!!! :2cents: more than i wanted to spend, but its just money...i don't know if it for everyone but i really like it, it looks very finished to me.

here are the before and after pics.

I need your guys honest opinion,,, i had a set of the SSR chevy wood bed rails that were at the dealership and no one used. I really dont know if i like it or not. maybe there not long enough?? what do you guys think??? they just velco on so they are not permanent by any means...

i also took off the old tonneau cover getting ready for the new fulltilt one that i just ordered. i will have to make some mods to the bed carpet to get the hinge and latch installed but not a big deal!

Will the clamps for the stock tonneau cover still fit or would you have to trim the wood on the sides?

i would have to drill them... the piece comes up to the top rail...

after thinking about it i am not going to use the wood bed rails...

You could put faux woodgrain down the sides of the truck to match. Detroit sold hundreds of thousands of vehicles like that. Give it a shot man...:tup:

Seriously though, the "bud rug" looks super-clean. If my truck didn't look like total ass, I'd put one in mine after seeing your pics.

Great purchase and install! Worth every penny...:tup:

that does look real nice. A little creativity and you can get the cover to work with minimal cutting I'm sure. :tup:

If my truck wasn't such a basket case I'd order one today.
