NEW BEST @ E-town Staurday

1st time out this year with the SY. The weather was good, as the DA was + 350 when I got there with 65% humidityand a 30.95 barometer.
The place was empty. Well I was the 1st one down the track, and they had the clocks accidently set for the 1/8 mile. It didn't matter as I only had about 2#'s of boost at launch (1.78 60'). The 2nd run, with a 6# launch got me the following:
60'....1.683
330...4.903
1/8...7.685
mph..88.57
1000'.10.076
1/4...12.116
mph..108.00
( A nicely kept GN got a good view of my tailights)

Next run after 1/2 hour cool down
60'....1.667 (new best)
330...4.878
1/8...7.624
mph..89.64
1000'.9.992
1/4...12.019
mph 108.65
( a new ZO6 ate Syclone dust on that run)

Damn! so close but so far. so I let it cool down again for another 1/2 hour.
and went up against a new 350 Z. Nice car.
60....1.676
330..4.833
1/8.. 7.568
mph.89.25
1000'.9.954
1/4...11.98 OH YEAH!!
mph.108.28

The Z went 14.0 @100mph....not bad, although I was standing next to him later spectating and heard him say to his friend "that he couldn't believe how that damn little black truck beat him so bad, LOL.

It was a fun day, the truck was running great, and the track was hooking, due to the lack of FWD cars there, although it was going a little lean up top, as the low mph showed. Last fall it was going 12.0 @ 111mph. Got to do more tuning, tuning, tuning...

I was running 20-21 #'s of boost and Xylene, on the T-2 22 setting, leaving with 6#'s of boost. The TC is a GM parts model that really performs well, and for the $200 price, it is a real bargain.

Thanks for looking

Mike

Nice run! For a street car/truck 11's are fast. Now you'll want 11.5's, then 11.0's, then 10.5's, and then you'll start wondering what the hells wrong with you and your checking account.

Awesome run!

I was hoping to run my 11 second pass on stock internals and a TE-44, but the weather has been relentless every friggin Saturday for nearly the past month. I hope this Saturday will be the day.

Great run!

I have the PTE TE-44 setup and hoping for high 11's with some other goodies. First test and tune around my area is April 6th, and you can bet that I will be there as long as it doesn't rain.

Again, nice run
