Need Ty "expert" / datamaster in CLEVELAND

Hi all,

I'm looking at a Ty for sale in cleveland and looking for someone to go over and take a look at it for me. I'm in eastern Pennsylvania and will not make the trip if the truck does not check out.

I'm hoping there's someone local who knows Typhoons (maybe even knows this one) and pref. has a datamaster.

I'd be willing to check it out for you. I have datamaster but haven't ran it on my new pc yet so i'm not sure if i'll be able to sync it up but I've been around these trucks for a few yrs now and know what to look for. Where did you find it? Auto trader perhaps? Is it a 93 green/gray?

Sounds great Mike, i'll either shoot you an email or post here if I hear from Baythan. We should try and get another Quaker Steak run in sometime soon. It sucks seeing the truck just sittin in the garage and not driving it. I don't think i've had it out since Sept. :-?

Sounds like a plan ! My truck is hibernating for the winter right now. However, if the weather is decent and the road salt isn't too crazy, I might have to revive it. Heh, having two guys show up in two syclones might freak the seller out. Would DEFINITELY eliminate the "bullshit factor" I think :wink: .

Yeah, I work from 8 to 4:30 M-F. So if we do our inspection during a weekday, it will be after dark for me. I have Datamaster on my laptop in case we can't get yours to sync up. Might be a moot point after the floor jack comes to bear to jack the ty up to check for a torn propshaft boot. Fuel pressure gauge comes out to check the fuel pressure. ALDL port gets jumpered to confirm IC pump operation, etc. etc. :wink:... Let me know what you have in mind. Ttyl.
