I have a 92 Typhoon that is stock other than an aftermarket intercooler pump and 3" ATR exhaust. The previous owner removed the cat. converter and disconnected the boost control solenoid. I am unsure if he played with the wastegate at all. I have connected the solenoid back up. The truck cuts off at higher RPM's and I am pretty sure it is overboost.
How do I fix this? Do I need to reinstall a cat. converter to solve the problem? How do I check to see if the wategate is properly adjusted? I would also be willing to pay someone to come out and fix it for me.
Thanks,
Justin
