Thanks for the heads up. I want to keep this ty bone stock though. I am sure someone local has one kicking around.

I have a stock replacement for a sy, dual mufflers and dual outlets.. don't think it'll work for a ty though.

My family owns a meineke in south plainfield NJ if you are looking for a custom exhaust to be made and installed. We could bend and install any size pipe and muffler you want.

let me check. I have a few ty exhaust systems kicking around.... let me check if i have a stock one.

Re: Need a clean stock exhaust system

I'm looking for a bone stock catback as well. Also looking for the goofy flexible rubber hose that goes from the turbo to the IC.

Not trying to jump in front of spoold. But if anyone has a couple sitting around it may be more worthwhile to dig out a couple of them.

Re: Need a clean stock exhaust system

I have the exhaust on my 1993 typhoon ready to come out. Unsure if it is the original OR ATR but it is in real nice shape. I am just trying to figure out how to get it over the axle to get it off and then I can take a pic for you guys to get an opinion. Any removal pointers?

Re: Need a clean stock exhaust system

Probably easiest to remove it on a lift. Then you can see if / what you need to remove. I have never pulled out a stock system, but you may have to remove the pass shock.

GREAT advice.....I would probably have never thought about doing that. I am swamped right now but will try to have it off by this coming Frday. Then I can shoot you guys pics. Also, the Autometer CF guages are in my lap right now. One is an oil pressure guage (0-100 psi) and the other is a boost pressure guage (0-35 psi). Will include a pic of them when I send the ones of the exhaust. Gotta scoot to work right now.

Please keep us posted on the exhaust. I thought you had forgotten about the gauges. But no worries, you sound busy and I'm not in a big hurry. Is the oil pressure electric or mechanical?

So I take it the trucks off the market now? Glad to see your fixing it up. Please keep me in mind and send me a PM if you decide to sell down the road. I know of a few non member owners in my area, I'll ask about the exhaust system for ya.
