Looking to get the gang together for the October 1st Test-and-tune day at Top-End dragways (formerly Interstate).

The air quality is generally outstanding at that time of year, and given a sunny day the track conditions are pretty good.

There's a make-up day on October 8th if the weather doesn't pan out.

There's a mud drags there on the 2nd, if anybody wants to try a Ty in the mud. (Rusty would be a perfect candidate)

Any takers?

I would love to go. I am sure someone like you (Turbodig) could look over the truck and diagnose it in about 5 minutes. It would also be nice to meet some of you guys. Odds are I will be working though. That's all I seem to do anymore.

The xtreme will be back in town this weekend. And Derek is talking about bringing the Vette out. Should be fun.

It'd be nice to get a look at it... we could at least tell you what needs to be fixed/updated.
Even a couple data runs would help loads.

It should run fine for the drive with the stock chip in place, as long as you stay out of boost.

You can close the border down for a couple of days... it's only Canada! :)

I am sure it would make the trip. I do have the stock chip in place and it runs great under normal conditions. As for closing the border down - I wish we could sometimes. We can't keep the Canadians from the weekly shopping excursions, though. There would be riots, looting, boycotts,.....:lol:

hmmmmmmmmm Sounds like a delivery of some Canadian beer might be in the works. I have it pencilled in, but not sure on the work schedule. It's been a few years since I've been down to meet you guys.

I would say maybe next time but odds are I will be working then too. Sure wish I could win the lottery.....

Long-term forecast is for a warmup and dry for the front part of October, so this is looking like a good date.

Looks like we'll get the Buick back together for the weekend too... should be a really good air day.

Got the trans back in the Buick, but the stupid shift cable decided to bust... will likely be a scramble to get that running.

Will probably throw a new dissy cap on the Sy just for good measure... looked a little gunky when it had it off.

Weather looks to be shaping up so far, forecast is for sunny and 76. AM lows have been in the 40s, so it should be a really good turbo day.

That's good to hear on the gn, my xtreme is not playing nice. So probably have the Vette out there. When are you guys heading there Saturday?

I plan to be there around 11:00 to get through tech and get the crap unpacked.
How soon dad will get there is anyone's guess... :)

I need to get a couple cans of race gas, and crank the WG rod down a bunch, but that's all I plan on doing beforehand.
