low oil pressure

Im getting low oil pressure on the ty. When I first start it, it has good pressure sits halfway on the gauge 40psi I believe? Up to normal operating temp it is good, then when I start driving for 10 min. or so the oil pressure starts to drop to the 1/4 mark and it sits there...so far I have checked the plugs to see if there is any oil residue doesn't appear to be any, are there any tests I can perform to start narrowing down the possible causes? oil leak in valvetrain? bad pump? etc.

Also it keeps spitting out a IAC error code even though I just installed a new one...and it runs rich and starts idling high 1000 RPM after 10 min. or so of driving. I've tried pulling the ECM B fuse lots of times no luck

Remove the plug on the remote filter mount & install a mechanical gauge. Then you'll see what the pressure really is.
Mine sits at 35 psi @ idle when warmed up.

stock gauge is way off most times but as a norm mine does as well

Thanks guys I def. will put a mechanical on there to get the true reading...we'll go from there
