Louisville May 16th Friday Night

Heading to the track to race some locals. Is a $20 buyin, leave off the flagger no lights/timers winner takes all.

Rules are very loose, 1st time they are trying it. Basically they want cars 7.5 and slower. I ran in 8's last time I was there. You can negotiate car lengths, break with the other driver before race.

It is the entertainment factor. Mattw is coming in I need someone to talk a lot of shit and negotiate lots of car lengths for my heavy old SUV.

Yea, I think so it was user issue and how I had the program setup. Just called Jeremy also and we plan to do some tuning on rear suspension so it will hook a bit better, already have a few ideas in the works.

Jeremy is racing out of town. JohnB is still trying to get his running and I don't see it ready to run by then personally.

Hardmans ty has an inch of dust on the fresh paint sitting in my garage. Watching him work on it, is like watching automotive paint dry, but you forgot to mix in the catalast.

Here are the rules they posted. I see it getting interesting and hard to police but worth a try.

Ok, let's try to get a list of everybody that wants to play. This will be at the next friday night street car
at the valley, may 16.

This is intended to be for the guys that have high 7 to mid to low 8 second cars however if Focker or anyone want to try thier luck in a 9.0 ride wtf. This is a designed to be fun if nothing else. If your car is a clearly much faster than advertised, such as it will go a 6.9 and you claim its a 7.9, you may be told that your car is a bad MF and that you are DQ and need to go race for the Dash for cash. This will be case by case and dictated by the Mobs decision

This is to be supposed fun not overly complicated. With that being said;

We said that the max advantage to be given was 5 cars and the break. If both cars leave its a dragrace. If the break is negiotated and the Break car leaves its a drag race. If the other car jumps, no race unless both cars move! Again if both cars move 3 inches its a drag race!

I will looking for a flagger. Volunteers?

We will draw names every round.

If the two drivers can not agree on the race by the time the are in the staging lanes both cars are elimated, its that easy! This is for fun and 20bucks.

Winner take all.

So it would have made a 12.5 pass? I would think Jeff could pedal that thing pretty deep in the 11's. But I dont know all the particulars of it. Lets here what happened!

Yea, something like that. Tazzo on the street with the 1 clean pass I did get showed significantly different et's. Still got a lot of work to do. Granted I never built this truck to be fast or the fastest just fun. O yea and boost is still at ~5psi.

arrg no videos for me at work, will check later.

If in fact that is a 8 second 1/4 pass then congrats!

1/8th mile. But still an 8 second pass:)

Fastest time was 8.1 @ 91mph.

If I look at others 1/8th mile MPH, that is around a mid 11 run.

Tazzo showed me a 106.6 MPH 1.8th mile mph once. We know it is a bit high so reduce that to even 100 MPH in 1.8th, others are running high 10's. And honestly I never thought this truck would go that fast.

Of course at this point it hasn't either. Just need more time to tune and get the bugs worked out and stop bench racing.

I should just put a car seat or 2 in it, just for that reason.
