How stickler are they on a cage and stuff?

I raced my bike wearing boots, jeans, and a mesh jacket. Used dental floss tied to my jacket and a screw in the ignition as a kill switch. No chain guard due to the +18 gearing. One wheel half the track all over the place. Blew tires in the burnout comps then laid it down, swapped tires and raced heats. Their only complaint was security told me to stop doing wheelies on my little pit bike.

:rotf: Needless to say the are pretty lenient on rules. Last time I was there it was an IHRA sanction track. Don't think roll bars or cages would be looked at

With my schedule I can't see that far out but it is attainable for me as well. I haven't done anything fun with my truck in more than a year. Please keep this post updated!

JSM Crew has confirmed dates are good, Tri-state seems to be the larger choice. Only thing left is a phone call to confirm with track its a test/tune day.

Re: JSM track day

Question for everyone watching this.

Is there any interest in getting shirts made?
Is there anything else we might be able to do or plan. So go kart track racing before or after? Group meal? Cruise in the trucks somewhere cool?

If you do Bowling Green I will be glad to help with the logistics. I can probably have access to a lift and full shop if needed. I will be out of town the 3weeks before the tenative date so if I need to work out dinner reservations we will need to do it before the end of May. Just let me know if I can help.

Jeff...keep me updated on this. I'm not on here as much as I used to be and I'd like to go if my schedule allows.

With Nats being cancelled I would be willing to show up in BG.
My new girl likes that area. Its her homeland. lol

Doubt I will have my truck done.
Motor is still at the machine shop getting 4 bolts and balanced.
