when he says "same deal" in mentioning the Syclone, does that mean it's for sale?

Pretty cool collection.

Be interesting to see what happens if and when the Sy goes up for sale. A friend had an 81 Z28. Loaded. 4 speed car. Original owner kept the car on jackstands inside the house. Patio glass sliding doors were big enough. Think it had 4k miles. He took it to the Camaro nationals and the judges showed their stupidity at the time. And scored a repainted car of the same year higher. At the time I had never seen a Camaro so clean. Ever. He sold it. Got an SS Monte. Same deal. Guy kept it in the basement. Was a TN car. It had less than 2k miles. A collector bought it from him. We all were building cars in that era and would joke he couldn't have any fun with the cars he kept getting. I often wonder today if those cars stayed in that condition after he sold them. I have owned my Sy since new. Havent driven it since 93. Its not a perfect assembly line condition chassis. But to me its worth alot since its only got 3400 miles.

I don't follow them but 26.5k with the reserve not met seems like an awful lot of money for IROC-Z. I don't think the more desirable (IMO) Grand National pulls in that much more in that condition.

Agree. My guess is he/she/it has a plethora of shill bidders and patiently awaits the sucker. I did ask him/her/it what the first digit needs to be for the purchase of the Syclone and I hope he/she/it responds when he/she/it is off his/her/its euphoric high ;)

I bet it never meets the reserve. Extremely low mile TTA's go for that kind of money, and I would say they are much more desirable.

If that's a true bid of 26k, I would drop the reserve and do a backflip. That's good money.

Exactly! He says in the description he wants 30k+ because this car will bring 50k at BJ in 5 years. I think he on the ambitious side with both numbers, to say the least. Also, for that kind of coin, I want 50+ pics, not 13

I talked to Elliott. He wants $31,500 for the Syclone. According to the pictures he sent me of the Syclone he has a lot of the books, magazines, letter of authenticity, but I didn't see the window sticker just the addendum sticker (shows options and adds that dealers use). According to his paperwork, the Syclone had 1,946 miles on it when he bought it. I haven't sent him a text to find out the real miles.

The Syclone is #981. The Syclone is in California somewhere.

Quick search yielded this!
