Has anybody ever tryed to change there interior Color and it they have tryed do thay have any advice.?

im in the process of changing mine because the new paint color wont match with black and red, Just go to a salvage yard and find a s10 with the color you want and get the interior.

i believe most of the interior plastic pieces are painted anyway...should be able to repaint them if prepped correctly...no idea what kind of paint is used though...

Yeah, this would be helpfull to know as I would like to touch up a few plastic parts in my interior. I believe it may be "vinyl paint".
Is this right?

whats pieces do you need? most are cheap and still bought at the dealer.

Well, I need the passenger side seat hinge/mechanism cover, rear pillars(like right behind the spare tire), tailgate (notorious scratches), Center console where the seat belt buckles have scratched a nice arc on, and the panels on the sides of the backseat. I would just imagine that the GM parts house would be asking an arm and a leg for these. Really, the damage isnt that bad, I am just picky.
