I just bought one in Oct 2011. I am not aware of the different bolt patterns. I have purchased at least 6 syty trubos and probaby 3-4 separate housing form them over the last ten years. A different bolt pattern was never brought up. There are differant A/Rs though. If you are running a 72mm then you will want the 85 A/R housing.

Reed at Turboworks machined the PTE housing to fit an HQ trim wheel so it can be done. You would have to buy one and see if Bullseye can make it work. Ask Alex, he may have done his that way.

Re: Interested in a pt turbine housing

I been chatting with Arron @ PTE. They did discontinue the Old housing and are offering a new style.

I just purchase a PTE 6152 and heres what I was told

"The "E" is the compressor cover style, which is a 3" inlet and 2" discharge compressor cover. The 6152 unit has been discontinued and there are no upgrades available for this unit."

I asked if I can upgrade my hot housing with a newer anti surge compressor. Response was as follows

The 6152 unit was rated to support 630 Flywheel HP. It has a 61mm cast compressor wheel and a 62mm T350 turbine wheel. The PTE Syclone housing are used only with our older PTE downpipes. If you have our down pipe and are putting it on a Syclone then it should work. Since we no longer make that unit and cannot upgrade it, there is nothing to be changed on the unit!

My turbo is still good. I was just looking into there cold side housing and wanted to know what it would take to put a newer/larger housing.
Best bet is try out there new products.
