Can anyone explane what injector impedence is? i see there is A high & A low. Not sure what this means. I know I need 75lb. injectors. Just want to make sure I get the right ones. one is $65 ea. & the High is $99.00 ea.

Thanks!

impedence = resistence basicly lower resistance without the proper drivers will overheat and burn up. They are in the ECM, and are a hardware component. :2cents:

If you don't want to "mod" (upgrade) the ECM, go with the highs. As mentioned, using the "lows" will require different drivers to handle the load.

Is there a reason to choose one over another (performance or reliability wise)?

Up until recently 50# was the biggest high impedence available. So if you needed more fuel you had to go to low imp. stuff.

Now there is theory that low imp. injectors can open faster. It does require mods to ECM to be able to handle the amps needed in low imp. stuff.

Honestly if you can get away with high imp. stuff to avoid ecm mods do it.
