Got lucky with intake

So I've read on the cracking plastic intake pipes, but mine had seemed to be in decent shape so I wasn't worried but this weekend while putting in my wideband and $59, I found this, it's about 1/8" from breaking off

On a side note $59 is pretty cool, much easier to navigate.

As far as intakes are concerned, is anyone running a filter on the turbo, or just the cobra elbow with a filter? I'd rather not relocate the battery.. I might go with RPM but it seems to achieve the same thing as just tossing a filter on the turbo.

Dang, you got lucky. Mine broke 3 times and finally took out my turbo. You could do what I did, make your own crossover tube with metal.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, should be putting a piece of screen over the end of their intake pipe to stop pieces from getting to the turbo. It's so easy to do and takes seconds, and will save you a lot of grief down the road.
