Getting ready to take it apart, any suggestions?

OK, so I have experience with taking the cladding off. Mark is going to be re-inforcing it for me, and Brandon will be helping me take it apart to get ready for paint. I need some advice on the rear side windows. I am taking them out, but is it something I can do OR should I call a window guy to remove them? With the windshield, I am not worried, it already has a crack,and I am removing it, but the side widows worry me. Any hints?

Cut them out from the inside. Remove the trim panels, and use a windshield knife to cut the Butyl. Have the guy that does your windshield put them back in at the same time he does the W/shield.

Do not attempt to cut them out from the outside, or you will damage the molding. The molding is expensive, and difficult to replace on a used glass. when cut from the inside, the molding stays on the glass. You clean off trhe old adhesive, prime and reinstall with the same adhesive they use on windshields.

I did a google search to find a picture of the knife. I bought mine from the Snap-On man 30 years ago. Here's the link the pic came from.
