What in the hell is that? Why? Something's wrong with it. Does it
Even help with handling at all?

It's for the "faux" bed mounted radiator.

Its not a functional radiator? I cant wait to see some race videos.

Do some searching and find his build thread. I'm sure it wouldnt be there if it didnt help.

This is what happens when you don't have rear down force. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LnmD7kxHUw

Re: For all you wing haters

The rear mounted radiator plus many other factors have allowed us to shift 5% of the total weight of the truck to the rear for better weight distribution. It also allowed us to fit a huge intercooler up front designed to handle over 600 horsepower for extended periods repeatedly which will is not uncommon during hill climbs and time trials.

The rear mounted radiator required proper ducting to get the air flowing through it. The problem is it also acts like a giant naca duct creating lift which we definitely don't want especially when going through esses at +125. The pressure differential created by the rear mounted radiator will make the wing even more effective. A front splitter wing will balance out the chassis.

If you think I'm full of shit, then blame my road race engineer Nathan McBride not me. His experience speaks for itself. http://www.alchemymotorsports.net/bios.htm
