First time roof rack-less

My roof rack is finally off. I've owned the truck since august of 2000 and I've wanted to take off the roof rack off since september of 2000. I also removed the door handle guards. The holes in the roof are all going to be welded and I'm planning on smoothing the indents between the doors and rear window and rear window and rear glass.
The whole interior is all apart now except for the dash, should be interesting going all back together.

Re: First time roof rack-less

whats behind the cardboard?

Nothing is behind the cardboard. Thats my first template, I'm planning on making a one piece panel that replaces the radio bezel and glove box. I'm going to mount 3-4 gauges in it and a plug for the FAST system.

So do all Typhoons have this trailor plug there?

I've never had the rear apart and I've never seen this plug before.

Thanks,

Nick

HAHAHHA I agree, your totally right. When the battery was put back there those were installed and I just let them. I'm actually going to be moving the battery out of the interior and I'm going to put it under the vehicle or back in the engine bay. I hate it in the back there, looks terriable.

Yes they will be for sale, they will not be going back on the truck.

I actually plan on using 98+ Jimmy handles that are recesed in the door, going to have them cut out of a 98+ truck then welded into my doors, if that can be done, we will find out.

I'm very suprised that the guy I bought my truck from used it to tow anything with, now I can see why a bunch of the interior panel screws were all messed up.

Any idea what you want for them? I can paypal you some moolah to save you the hassle of listing. (as long as the price is reasonable and they are in good shape)

your truck was a tow pig!

I guess it was, whatever at this point everything has either been replaced or rebuilt so nothing really to be concerned by,

I dont know if I've ever seen a set for sale before. Make me an offer, they are in decent shape and I removed them as easily as I could. They are somewhat faded just from normal use and I know in the past they have had some silicone products on them to make them shine again.
