Fire jackets

I've started looking into the fire jacket issue. I've seen some interest in the past. Anyway, to start does anyone have, or know where I can get, the Sy/Ty logo digitized? This will save some $$. My initial thought was a large Sy or Ty logo on the back, smaller version on the front and maybe your name. These would be embroidered. The company in checking on fire resistant thread and availability of the actual jacket.

Not sure. I believe almost ANY non stock, turbocharged or supercharged motor requires a fire jacket for the driver. I'll look later but someone will chime in I'm sure.

EDIT: The way I read the NHRA regs, if you're 13.99 or quicker AND you have a NON OEM turbo you need a jacket meeting SFI spec 3.2A/1 specifications. It changes if you have a non OEM firewall (unlikely).

I doubt it. I can't tell you for sure of course but I wouldn't worry about it. There's only one guy in Sport Street class that I know of that has a jacket and he trailers a modded Mitsu. that runs in the 12's. They're used to me so they know a Sy has a turbo as OEM. I suppose it'll depend on how hard they look.

Funny thing, the Mitsu actually caught fire four weeks ago. Blew an oil filter. Fire went right out and he was back the next race date.

should be out in a month to try my truck...hopefully
Would like a jacket anyways.
