Custom Billet Pinion Wedged Lowering Blocks

I have had quite a lot of PM's about the lowering blocks that my dad has made for me and a few friends. I have convinced him to make some more

They will be made when he has time at work or if he goes in to work for a few hours during the weekend. With saying that, there is no time line guarantee.

Payment will be accepted only when the blocks are done so no one is left waiting after paying

They will be made in one and two inch lowering configuration and include a built in 8* pinion wedge and .5" rear offset pins to get a correct front to back spacing in the wheel well. The blocks are milled from bar stock and come with high strength stainless pins and pin bushings. Depending on cost they may be hard anodized black or painted satin or gloss black. They will also include new spring bolts that are custom fit to the lower pin bushing.

New u-bolts are not included due to them costing about $10-12 a bolt for me to have them made. Its a rip off and they can probably be found cheaper

Price is $200 for a set of blocks with spring bolts, plus shipping.

Here are some pics of the Davey Z version 2, one inch blocks that I have installed on my Syclone:

Please post if you want a set and what size and I will make a list. Blocks will be made in the order of the list. Once again, no payment will be accepted until your blocks are done and ready to ship.

List:

2. Norwegian Ty- 1" drop. Completed and shipped
3. DaveP- 2" drop (with u-bolts)
4. Mixed Breed- 3" drop.
5. Icarus-54- 1" drop.
6. STEVECUL8ER (Steve)- .5" drop.
7. Sycho (Denny)- 1" drop
8. Upgrade (Scott)- ?" drop
9. Craig Jones- 2" drop

Thanks,

I don't know if they are lighter or stronger but I can guarantee they are the BEST quality blocks that you will ever find. They are made from aerospace quality bar stock aluminum by a prototype machinist who builds space and defense stuff for a living. The high strength stainless pin and pin bushing will definitely help protect the aluminum blocks.

What makes them better than the cheaper ones and even the $175 dollar ones that a vendor on here sells is the all in one package. There is not stacking a set back plate, lowering block, and pinion wedge on top of each other. Or going to install the block only to have two different spring bolt heads or even in some cases the blocks not fitting on top of the springs. It is all in one piece and it will come nicely coated instead of plain aluminum that will oxidize.

I think that about sums it up. Let me know if you have any more questions.

You can also contact Mtn. Z as he has a set and can tell you all about them.

Indeed I do. Here is the link to my install thread for these blocks. These things are top of the line and installed without any issues whatsoever.

Re: Custom Billet Pinion Wedged Lowering Blocks

Put me on the bottom of the list since I have a gen 2 and may need a different angle or thickness.

Re: Custom Billet Pinion Wedged Lowering Blocks

What is the height difference between the 1'' drop and the stock wedge? Reason for asking is that I already had my leafs de-arched 2 1/2 in and dont't really want anymore drop but do want to recenter the axle and not add the 3/8 jagsthatrun plus the stock wedge.
