Too much fuel pressure or maybe your timing retards too much @ wot.. Do to chip, heat,Octane, dampner placement, etc. Prob too much fuel pressure. Turbo motors love to run lean but it too dangerous of a line to cross,If too lean detonationand spark retard. Other wise it leads to blown motors, reduced motor life. Too much veriation in mods and other veriables to calibraet exact chip specs. Also an effiecent intercooler lets the motor run a little leaner before it starts to detonate .

you need to get a tool hooked up to your truck before you go under 50 psi...that way you can be sure you dont have any detonation and you still have enough fuel. congrats on the fix

still having wot problems, can slowly get to wot no problems, will go well over 120 with the ease into wot method , do not have a scan tool yet, what can i do in the mean time, all fluilds are correct, 160 thermo, plugs where slight black then reduced fuel pressure from 60 to 50 cleared the plugs up, runs 1/2 throttle great, full throttle cuts out still, should i reduce intial timing slightly?? thanks

I had the same problem, But I blew up the motor before I could fix it. I would love to know what was causing the problem. Let me know.

well, found out my ic pump was not working fixed that, cap was loose fixed that, now it will go to wot but stumbles alittle at 3000 rpms, clears up & goes to redline, when first started up and driving it will be fine, after getting fully warmed up it does the 3000 rpm flutter, will change fuel filter in the morning, fuel pressure at 50 does it need more??

it does the 3000 rpm flutter

From the Syty FAQ:

My Tach keeps fluttering What causes this?

Telltale Ignition problems. Do tune up with the above listed products.

Poor full throttle performance is directly related to a poor ignition system...

In other words - you have an ignition issue...

The Syclone/Typhoons are THE MOST finicky car I have EVER seen for ignition....
