CRL rebuild

Bought a worn CRL to save it from the trash. Yeah, I know parts will be hard to come by. I hope to post tear down and rebuild pics here.

Anyone got parts for sale? Needs new drain ports, triangular filler panels, rubber bands (don't know what else to call them) and new glass (will probably go aftermarket custom). Any leads appreciated.

That's awsome! I really wish they made a roll down ( sliding) window for the back of the Ty's.

So, I'm in the middle of tearing down the window. Thought you guys might enjoy the custom-etched glass artwork.

Errr....I'm not feeling it. :rant: Good grief, it takes up almost half the window! :rant: Any offers?! :rotf:
Well, at least I have a template to make new glass. I plan to create a full-size CAD file of the glass for future reference. I guess I'm going to lose the CRL logo, but that might not be a bad thing.

I also have to repair cracks in the side filler panels (sails). I'm thinking of pulling molds. Carbon fiber sails might be cool.

Lastly, one of the two drain ports is busted. I can copy the ports from the Sy, so I'm hoping 3D printing will be the answer.
