Re: coolant leak behind lower intercooler

OK wtf am I doing wrong? I got another pump from these guys and tested it with 12v before I installed it and it spun up. Pulled the ic back down and reinstalled the new pump. Put a bit of water in the cooler and turned the key on to give it power since my pump is hotwired and it is dead again. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Did you check the fuse?

Yes I have 12 volts at the pump harness so fuse is good. I literally had the key on for a few seconds, enuf to listen for the pump after the fuel pump primed. Im sure its cooked again as it shows open circuit with my ohm meter. What could I possibly be doing to fry pumps other than they are just junk pumps? I installed the Dutch Ty radiator, new 3/4 lines up to the upper cooler. No kinks anywhere. I cut the factory plug from the old pump and soldered and used shrink tube over the connections. I had some crud in the stock lower and the supply hose was completely kinked but that didn't take out the factory pump as it still works. Even if there was a blockage the pump should still spin but just not push any water as it has nowhere to go right?
