Syclone starts up fine idles high for about a minute then starts to REALLY struggle dies 1/10 times and by the time it gets hot it's smooth as a kitten. Sounds like an IAC problem to me does anyone have pics of the IAC? Can I spray it with brake cleaner and clean it out or do I have to get a new one is infact it is the IAC thats causing this problem?

On the backside of the throttle body towards the firewall:
If the passages where it mounts to are plugged up and/or the pintle has carbon caked on it that can cause problems. Carb cleaner works well for breaking up the carbon. You *can* clean it on the truck but it is easier if you remove the throttle body. That will also allow you to give it a good inspection and see if anything else could be causing the problem.

One way to know for sure if it is yoir IAC is to hook up datamaster of some computer diagnostic tool. It should give you an indication as to how things are working.
I had simmilar problems and it turned out being my TB. I was loosing vacuum from around the linkage. I did a temp fix by packing the linkage holes with plummer's greese.

you know this is just an off the wall check but never under estimate the O2 sensor but you would need a tech 1 to make sure also on some vehicle not for sure about sy but the ambient air or coolant temp sensors can be a injector pulse input and if off cause the truck to run very rich which would be a cold idle problem but the O2s will do the same

Mine was doing this exact same thing. Turned out to be a vacuum leak. One of the small hoses fell off the intake under the throttle body.
