Coan 9/11 converter

Has anyone ever owned or seen one?

I bought some spare parts when I bought my Royal. Ty. And one part was a box with Coan written on it and it was shipped from Turbotime to the guy I bought the parts from.

The member I got the truck and parts from doesn't visit the site often so I can't ask him.

I have a fellow member wanting to buy it. But I want to know exactly what I am selling him before the deal is completed.

It has a sticker on the back but if it had numbers on it they are no longer there. By the way it is painted dark blue.

Re: Coan 9/11 converter

I know that E-Rue sourced another Torque Converter because he wasn't happy with how loose the TCS 9/11 Converter were. I know that he was much happier with the TC he changed to and they weren't cheap. However, I am not sure if Coan was that TC.

Thank you Dave for that info. I found another post while searching. A member was talking about a Coan bought from E-Rue. It was for a 4l80. But he was probably selling for the 700r also.

Re: Coan 9/11 converter

George Blake used to sell Coan converters too.. He was trying to have me buy one when I bought my 4L80e from him... Bought a PI Vigalante instead.. Funny thing, thinking about it now, that PI converter was the only thing that came from him as it was supposed to... Lol... Billet trans= no billet parts... Multi-disc TC= Multi-disc TC..:rotf:

Hope this may help the riddle a little..
