Cluster problem

On the clone I grabbed the cluster is going crazy. Speedo jumps all over then sticks at 120. Tach bounces and sometimes maxes out. Oil pressure is intermittent. Water temp stays steady, shows low temp. Anyone have similar issues?

Thats kinda where i was leaning. Dash will be swapped to my blazer so Ill double check all that. Could also be the one for the battery relocation i guess. Its in back with a ground to the frame rail.

If you are using the frame as a ground, you will need to have a good ground from the engine block to the frame.

iirc The factory ground path to the frame is just a small wire off the battery. I think the only ground the frame provides with the factory setup is the rear tail lights and fuel pump.

Also if the pins on the cluster aren't making good contact with the pigtail connector, it will cause that.

Thanks. I was hoping it wasn't a junk cluster. I'll look into that
