Been kicking the idea around of having people over to hang out - catch up on the latest gossip. Fire up the grill at my place drink a few beers.

I know a couple of the OG Chitown guys are going to be away the last part of May. I'm not sure of the exact dates they are going to be gone.

Weekend of:

June 5th

The 22nd isn't the best weekend for me - do-able but not my choice. Let me know what you guys think.

Also, for anyone who is new and hasn't had the opportunity to meet some of the locals - this is the time. Everyone is welcome to come and hang out. So any newbies who would like to come out show off your truck. Maybe spend some time working on it - fixing any problems - feel free to join us.

I'm probably NOT going to the Nats. I'm still unsure at this point. It'll probably be a last minute thing if I do go.

Having a target trip weekend before the Nats may be a good idea for me. It would be a good way for me to test the truck out to see if I put it back together properly this time.

Still have a soild weekend of work left before it is driveable though.

The weekend of the 15th I'll be at the World Ford Challenge in St. Louis and the weekend of the 22nd the NHRA is at Joliet so Ill be there. Anytime after that is good for me.

Since I won't be attending the NATS this year due to new job (one week vacation time after one year on the job) I'm game for defecting to the west for a chitown shindig :D ! The NATS is the only time that I see most of y'all. Pick a date and I will try to make it out.

Okay - June 5th is confirmed.

Plan on 1:00'ish till whenever.

I know most know where my place is so if you need direction send me a PM with your location and I'll try to give you the quickest way to get here.

We'll provide the burgers and/or brats. Stacey will make us eat something besides burgers - so there will probably be something else thrown in.

I've contacted a few owners who have been quiet over the past few months so hopefully we'll see a couple old faces.

If anyone needs any wrenching done - we can probably manage something. There is a industrial park across the street if anyone needs any Datamastering. The only problem is you can only get up to 60'ish before it's time for brakes. All the other roads are kinda curvy. Of course the road in front of my house if straight ;)

Doh, I'd love to make this, but that's the weekend of Trish's best friend's wedding. If I came to Chicago, I'd have to stay there. =)

Just so anyone reading is curious - this is open to anyone. I've gotten a few messages from people asking about this. If you are/were an owner and want to come out - feel free. I just need a head count so I know how much food to plan on.

Yeah - plan on bringing something like that. I know some people are picky about what soda they drink. Of course if you're over 21 you can bring beer. If you're under 21 - you can sneak some ;)
