I did the same thing. Man did that 1-2 shift scare me!! Or should I say, it would have scared me a lot more, if that Buyer's Guide hadn't given me the heads up. I think it's safe to say the Syclone/Typhoon 700R4 is the hardest shifting factory automatic......EVER! :crazyeye: :syty:

This guide should be a "sticky" on the truck for sale on this site. IMO...

Checking Mout Mounts would be a suggestion, checking the ABS isn't as relavent, since it is rare to even find a truck today that the ABS even works.

Sez you... mine works fine. :)

I didn't even want to get into the modifications, or you'd have a 15-page checklist.
It would probably be good to mention in the part about ABS that it's common for them to be removed.

I'll also try to add a pic of a stock virgin engine compartment... if I can find one. Determining what's been modified would be a big part of buying one, now-a-days.

I was considering writing a buyer's guide of my own on PowerTunePlus, focusing more on what to avoid in terms of hack jobs, trucks modded-to-shit, buyers in over their heads unloading a basket case, etc.

Here's the image I use on my truck's webpage to compare the appearance between my truck and a virgin stock engine compartment:

The weird part is that it's from the "convertible" Syclone which was obviously painted teal. If anyone has a better image of a fully stock engine in a factory-painted truck, let's see it! :)
