HKS on mine. You can get different pressure/rate springs for them also.

I had a hks guess it was a knockoff but, i went with a greddy rz its quieter but it works

I'm running an hks ssqvIV, nothing but smiles, no springs or anything, and doesn't leak.

Greddy rs bov here. It was already on the ty when I bought her. No complaints. I did notice mine to be a little quieter than Jay's and not as high of a pitch. Try youtube for sound clips of diff bovs.

Older adjustabe HKS SSQV. Bleeds about a pound at 18 psi, about 1 1/2 at 22 psi. Great for scaring pedestrians, You can almost play it like an instrument with the throttle.

The bov's only job is to release pressurized air when the throttle body is closed while in boost. It's basic function is to extend turbo life by not letting the pressurized air back flow over the impeller blades which cause the impeller to change direction rapidly.

so you still keep the internal wesgate hooked up im going to look more on to this to install one in my truck since im just going to install a brand new turbo

Yes wastegate controls boost if you dont have one then BOOOM!
Bov releases pressurized air

Yes from manifold pressure, making sure there is no check valve in the way as our trucks have a few on the vacuum lines.

The BOV will already come with a spring installed. I think you can change them with these: http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=760
