No blow off valve Is just going to release the air pressure that is built up in the pipe to keep it from reentering the turbo when you let your foot off the gas. Just make sure you tap into the bad line system correctly.

aight thats what i thought, i knowsome cars can run rich o because the air mixture can be off for split seconds. and what do you mean by bad line system?

You need to get a flange correctly welded to the pipe too. That's just the hardpipe w/o the flange for your BOV. Just ask for the flange to be added when you order it. It'll probably double the cost, but I'm sure RPM would hook your up. Here's mine.

which is the best for a stock turbo. ive heard good things about the greddy type s,turboentics, hks, and the vortec unit from sytyperformence. which one is easiest to install and sounds good. and the intercooler to turbo pipe im upgrading to is the pipe from sytypeformance. so which one will weld best to it??

I ran an HKS for many years on my stock turbo truck with no issues:

While I haven't seen a poll about this before, the HKS is probably the most popular BOV in use on here. I sold my setup last year and will be going with a one off piece in the future since I have a big shaft PTE turbo now that my old set up wouldn't work with. Going to go with a Tial Q BOV since I never really liked the sound of the HKS (it sounded like a whistling bottle rocket). The only thing that *may* limit your choice is if the BOV that you choose doesn't have an aluminum mounting flange to mount it to the hardpipe with. The hardpipe sold by syty performance is aluminum so, you will need an aluminum flange to weld it to which *shouldn't* be a problem.

some bov come with the needed flange. I got the turbonetics raptor from RPM and flange was in the box. Maybe HKS, tial and some others do too? I've got an extra flange for the raptor and vortech BOVs from RPM if you end up needing one. U should check out www.gofastgoods.com next and get his vac manifold. Gives the BOV great response.

i recently saw a bov mounted on the side of the factory intercooler, looked good. it was mounted on the pass side.
