Re: ATR down pipe

No its not the same the atr downpipe fits a atr turbo or a pte syty housing but you have to make two of the holes bigger!

Re: ATR down pipe

Actually it may be the same, since the ATR SyTy downpipe was designed to be used with a GN style turbo and a 3 to 4 bolt adapter to mate to our exhaust manifolds.

Re: ATR down pipe

Not worried about the turbo,is the bend the same so it will match up to the rest of a syty dp?I have a complete ATR 3" exhaust for a ty minus the head pipe.

Re: ATR down pipe

I've never taken a close look at an ATR downpipe for a Buick, but I have a 2001 ATR catalog that shows the GN downpipes and they look much different than the SyTy downpipe. The GN turbo is mounted sideways compared to the SyTy. The headpipe on a GN downpipe is directed towards the fender where the SyTy version is toward the rear.

Re: ATR down pipe

What Jack was asking is if the upper headpipe from an ATR Buick GN downpipe was the same as a ATR SyTy headpipe, and the answer is no. They are not interchangable, the Buick turbo is mounted sideways compared to the SyTy turbo and the headpipe is quite a bit different.
