Are you coming to Englishtown? there's got to be at least one person with a scan tool who could bring it. I'd pay to have a scan done on my truck...E-town might be a good opportunity to have everyone's truck "read." Heck, we're sitting there for 4-5 hours anyway...might as well make it a tune session too. I'm sure Ralph could be a big help?

If you're not and you still haven't found someone by then, I would chip in just to have one locally so we can keep up the tune on our trucks in S.E. PA.

I'll bring mine down too. Im sure we could all meet up before or after. The roads around raceway park get pretty crazy with all the traffic after but im sure we could find a spot.

Why do we need a spot "afterwards." Can't we run a scan on an idling truck? :dunno:

Nope, more or less just started. It's never run 100% compared to my other two but it's close. I have knock for sure.

Good idea, when is Englishtown? I'll be there for sure to see other trucks and hopefully get an assessment of the issue(s) at hand.

I'm pretty sure that when I sold it 99% of the knock was tuned out of it. But that was two owners, 1.5 years, and a butt ton of elevation different

because he may be losing power under load due to actual knock where as false knock would pull timing and be more present under an idling or reving while in N truck

I may be making it to etown as well.. but don't know yet

Gotcha. Thanks.

Vince, E-town is 4/19. I'm heading out at 6:30 am and might be caravaning with a Ty out of Huntingdon Valley if you want to join up. Here's the thread: http://www.syty.net/forums//showthread.php?t=56101

How do you know it is not the fuel pump -Don't theses trucks go into open loop when they warm up ?? -or am I thinking of something else besides speed density??
