My grandparents used to have a vacation trailer near a lake up there years and years ago. It's probably been at least 15 years, maybe 20 since I've been that way. Don't remember much, and I doubt my grandparents do either.

Been a dealership automotive technician for the last 4 years, but I want out of it(like the field, hate flat rate pay). I have an interview here coming up for an electrician apprenticeship but Im willing to try about any field that has good hours and good money.
Sounds like I'd be close to alot, so I'm sure I'd come up with something. She said her step dad would give me a job at his logging company, but working for the step dad just sounds like a train wreck waiting to happen if work doesnt go well.

East side of Indianapolis. Hyundai/Suzuki dealership. Rich works IT for a string of dealerships in Richmond, IN also. He might be able to get you on at one of those also, and Richmond is way closer. But if you want to make the drive, you can start tomorrow.

I wont be down till late friday but will just be visiting and checking out the area. If I like the area I might have to stop in and check out the shop, or one of the richmond shops. Richmond is only 10 minutes away from where her parents liveGarnetTy1473 said:

We have the chevy cadillac, ford mercury, dodge honda, and chrysler jeep dealerships in Richmond aka Wetzel Family Auto Crusie check us out at wetzelauto.com. I am mainly at the honda dealership, but stop in and ask for me if you want, i dont know if we are hiring right now but i could introduce you to the main peeps. i think we are going go cart racing in indy on friday night so if you are in town after 5pm i wont be there, but you could still check out the dealerships.

If you are gonna stop by Indy, I'm leaving Fri afternoon to head to Texas to pick up a new race car. I won't be back until late Saturday. If you are still in town at that time, let me know. I have keys to the dealership so I can still show you around. We just had a new service manager start today, but we have too much work, and no techs with any motivation.

I'm going to be a tech it sounds like but plan on going after the advisor job when its available. The way he talked he wants me for both :dunno: , I'm not sure what the plans are and how thats going to work but Im sure that kind of thing will be discussed more when I go in there.

No problem! if our group cant help out our members then why be in a group? Being able to do both jobs has to be an advantage. Now i will have at least one non-anti-SYTY person at work, too many haters here, but none want to man up and run me on the street. :lol: :lol:
