I'm in Sabin, MN, about 210 miles up I-94 from you.

We should really get the MN gang together this spring... got a few more of
us around, now.

Later,

Dig

I'm starting my own little clan. Tomorrow I plan to take over the world.

I finally got the new cladding to fix the broken drivers rocker today. Haven't had a single issue with it yet except the temp gauge; you were right, DM readings were Kosher, it was the gauge that was hosed.

I live in Eden Prairie. I'd love to get together with some other SyTy owners. Don't look to me for any wrench turning though... i have zero talent in that department :)

Re: anyone in MN area?

Yeah, I bought it from Jason. He bought it and it had a Hypertech chip in it :squint:. He was getting some pretty serious overboost issues (go figure), so he changed the boost solenoid, etc., and ended up finally going back to the stock chip. The Hypertech is in a landfill somewhere now. The truck has a Shur-flo pump, heater hose IC lines, AFPR, one of those throttle body air-foils and no EGR. Stock other than that, and I'm very pleased with it.

Re: anyone in MN area?

I'm always down for meeting up. I'm usually down at Porky's on the weekends if I'm not up to anything. Shout me a PM (for those of you who know how to do so).

Oh yeah, forgot about the Cobalt Autometers. I'm saving for a matching boost gauge (among a zillion other things) to get rid of the regular VDO that's in there. Those Cobalts are nice. I didn't see his brothers GN. Is there an online ad for it somewhere? I was with him just long enough to pick me up at the airport and drive me to his house, sign the papers and I was off; maybe 45 mins. He was driving his Joe Gibbs silverado though; what a SWEET truck.

I heard that he was trying to get 10-11k last summer. I paid $7,200. That came with a good condition SyTy rear wheel and tire to use as a spare, and a brand new in the box ring & pinion and full install kit (bearings, seals, shims, etc. $440 kit) because there is a whine in the rear end under deceleration. It'll need it soon. I feel I got a decent deal.
