Anyone fix cladding?

Does anyone fix cladding on here? I've got some broken mounting tabs, and I don't quite trust myself to weld them back on

I have learned not to weld the tabs. It warps the other side. Use plastic adhesive. This product works very well.

Clean the area and spray with something like bulldog adhesive promoter on the spot you are gluing the tab. It makes the adhesive stick a lot better to the plastic. Tabs are easy.

I used that to fix some dings on the face of the cladding but it is pretty flexible. I've had best luck on the mounting tabs with just JB weld and no issues with them back on the truck. Its also much cheaper

I found that it being flexible was a good thing though. The tab will flex like the rest of the plastic and not be ridged. I'm sure both ways do the job. I just really liked the way the 3m stuff worked. You do have to put plenty of the 3m stuff. I would say a minimum of 1/8"to 1/4" thick around the tab. But there is more than enough material in the tubes to reattach a lot of tabs.

I fixed my cladding myself its very easy but you have to be patient to see results it takes a full 24hrs to dry... Ok i use stelmax this it was its used for: Bonds rigId and flexible pvc to themselves and abs, resistent to water,oils and any chemicals, i got great results especially in the places you cant put a bunch of epoxy because of clearence issues this stuff works great it basiclly turns into vinyl plastic and can be shaved down or sanded very easily.. WE ACTUALLY SELL THESE FOR 10 DOLLERS I USED HALF A TUBE FIXING MY REAR PASSENGER WHEEL WELL AND THE LOWER REAR CLADDING CONNECTED TO IT AND THAT HAS A HUGE MOUNTING TAB.. SO BASICLY ONE TUBE GOES A LONG WAY

i have used that product and it's a very good one. but for the cladding the best is fiberglass if not they will brake time and time again trust me i do bodywork for a living . and on top of that i used that product on my cladding broke again.

How do I go about getting a tube of this stuff? I'd like to get the cladding fixed ASAP as my truck is going out for paint and I'd like to drop off the cladding same time I drop off the truck
